Abstract

Due to privatisation of the civil service, the AEC (Atomic Energy Corporation) had to find applications for expertise developed at the corporation. A unique gas separation technique had been developed at the Uranium Enrichment corporation (UCOR). Research into applications in the industry showed a possible application in the petrochemical industry . The author of this dissertation was involved with the design and development of a high pressure test facility, in which the research and development of a high pressure gas separator could take place.
