As a photographic subject, architecture has both sociological and artistic interest. In its simplest form it can reveal a considerable amount about a culture and on a grandeur level architecture can be an expression of the aesthetic. The scope for interpretation, however, is rather more limited tan in most areas of photography. As with any large-scale subject, such as landscapes, the photographer has very few possibilities for making alterations.en_US
